Brome hay is a grass hay that is high in fibre, low in protein and low in calcium all of which helps keep the gastrointestinal tract of all small herbivores functioning properly. A high fibre diet will also lower the incidence of soft stools, intestinal gas and bloating.
Brome hay looks a lot like Western Timothy Hay, but has a wider blade. It has a different flavour that will had variety to an animals diet.
Brome Hay can be mixed with the following grass hays:
- Western Timothy Hay
- Orchard Grass Hay
- Oat Hay
This is encouraged as animals seem to like the variety.
Brome Hay is available in 425g and 4.05kg
